opens October 1, 2013.


The International Stuttering Awareness Day (ISAD) online conference has been hosted by Judith Kuster, emeritus professor, Minnesota State University, Mankato for many years. From the 2013 edition, a new team with Dan Hudock, Anita Blom, Keith Boss and Bruce Imhoff is continuing the work of Judith after her retirement. The conference represents a world-wide endeavor by persons who stutter, their friends and families, students, and professionals (educators, researchers, and clinicians) interested in stuttering The conference is FREELY AVAILABLE and linked to the International Stuttering Association (http://www.isastutter.org) starting October 1.

The conference consists of a variety of papers written by professionals as well as people who stutter. Papers are written in a reader-friendly style with threaded discussions attached for interaction between the presenters and participants for three weeks. All papers remain available online after the conference concludes on October 22 and past online conferences are freely available.
